ARE THERE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN A LABRADOODLE AND AN AUSTRALIAN LABRADOODLE?

Yes, there is a big difference.
The Labradoodle comes from the direct cross of a poodle and a Labrador, so neither the character nor that it is hypoallergenic can be guaranteed.
Australian Labradoodles have a multigenerational approach that eliminates unwanted characteristics of labradoodles. Through genetic work, starting from the F3, , all the characteristics so appreciated in an Australian Labradoodle can be guaranteed (hypoallergenic, temperament, intelligence, ….)

HOW DO YOU GUARANTEE THE PURITY OF THE PUPPY BREED?

Our breeding dogs have been certified by WALA, after having passed the following tests:

- Official and certified ophthalmological review by the Bellaterra Veterinary Hospital.

- Dysplasia controls de hips, patellas and elbows performed by  Orthopedic foundation for Animals (OFA) _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b_de USA.

- Degree of consanguinity: it is verified that the degree of consanguinity between the breeding male and female is <0.03

MALE OR FEMALE?

Our Australian Labradoodles have an excellent temperament, so both males and females are almost absolutely similar options and are almost absolutely similar and puppies are sterilized.

WHY DO WE STERILIZE PUPPIES?

Following WALA regulations, puppies must be sterilized. Only in this way can the continuity of the purity and control of the race be guaranteed.
Early sterilization improves the quality of life of our pets. By carrying out early castration we avoid the appearance of breast tumors so frequent in females, as well as the probability of infections that put our pet's life at risk.
In the case of males, the concern of many about not wanting a male due to territorial marking disappears when they are sterilized. In addition, complications that arise over time, such as prostate disorders, testicular tumors, are avoided.

AT WHAT AGE DO WE DELIVER THE PUPPIES?

Our puppies, according to the WALA code of ethics, are delivered at 8/9 weeks old, it is the optimal time, both from the point of view of weaning and of socialization.

ARE THE PUPPIES DELIVERED VACCINATED AND DEWORMED?

In the sixth week of life, they are vaccinated against canine distemper and parvovirus. In the eighth week they are vaccinated against canine parvovirus, distemper, canine infectious hepatitis, canine infectious laryngotracheitis and canine leptospirosis.
They are delivered completely dewormed. The deworming process takes place at week 3-4, 5 and 8.

ARE THE PUPPIES SOCIABILIZED?

Absolutely. The puppies are born in the zoological nucleus located in the province of Girona, in an idyllic rural and family environment, always under our constant supervision 24 hours a day. We deliver the puppies socialized and educated personally by us during these 8-9 weeks.

WHEN CAN I TAKE MY PUPPY OUT?

The puppy can and should go outside for proper socialization. However, until he is fully vaccinated, he can only go out in his arms or in any other way that guarantees that he does not touch the ground. From 14 weeks and under the approval of the veterinarian, you can go out but with careful vigilance that the puppy does not eat anything off the ground.

HOW MUCH EXERCISE DO PUPPIES NEED?

In puppies less than 12 months old, exercise should be appropriate for their age. This is so to avoid hip and joint problems, which can be induced at this stage of rapid growth if excessive exercise is abused for age. Cycling, running, mountain, in short, any type of activity of effort and unevenness, as well as stairs should be avoided. Starting with 10 minutes of free play in the yard or a walk is fine. Then it is advisable to gradually increase the exercise time. Our golden rule: increase the time by one minute per week of the puppy's life until it is one year old.
As Adults los Australian Labradoodles need moderate exercise, great companions next to the bike, great runners, love jogging they even accompany them in swimming.
